…to the beat? When I run, I almost always listen to music, unless I’m running with a partener/group. The music always takes me somewhere and sometimes I don’t even really hear it because I’m lost in my own thoughts. It’s as if I’m floating along. It is very cool and hard to explain.
When I become conscious of what I’m doing/where I’m at, I sometimes wonder what is pushing me along. Can I stop? What’s making my legs move? Then I start to focus and I’m present.
Maybe this is why I love running so much.
